Puerta del Sol is 500 metres away and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is a 15-minute stroll. Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 13 km from the hotel. The Opera metro station is very close, making it easy to reach other parts of the city without a car. The area is lively with numerous bars and restaurants; nearby options include TSG Steak, Tapa Tapa Arenal, Don Ulpiano and El Califa Madrid, all within a 5-minute walk. The building fronts a busy street with late-night noise, so light sleepers should plan accordingly.

The property functions as a guest house with private rooms, each featuring a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. All units come with a tea and coffee maker, a wardrobe, heating and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have a balcony, but the actual room size, window count and cabinet space can differ from what is shown in photos. Rooms are compact and best suited for a short stay; the double bed is narrow for two adults. The interior has thin walls and the building has no soundproofing, meaning noise from neighbouring rooms and the street is clearly audible. Windows in some rooms do not seal properly. The room temperature can be difficult to control; heating is via a portable radiator or heat pump, which may not always be sufficient. Air conditioning is available in some rooms but may not function reliably. The bathroom is small with limited space in the shower stall. The property is a converted old floor of a building, so the shared hallways and entrance may feel dim and dated.
