The property sits in the La Latina district, one of the most central and walkable areas of Madrid. Plaza Mayor is a 7-minute walk, Mercado San Miguel is 600 metres away, and Puerta del Sol is less than 1 km. The Reina Sofía Museum is a 16-minute walk, while the Prado Museum and Gran Vía are both 15 minutes away. Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 14 km away - about 40 minutes by taxi or 1 hour by metro. La Latina metro station is a 2-minute walk, providing easy access to the rest of the city. The area is very safe and filled with shops, bars, and restaurants. Despite the central setting, some street-facing rooms experience considerable traffic noise at night.

Rooms are compact and basic, furnished with a bed, a shower and washbasin inside the room, and a private lockable toilet located in a separate cubicle on the corridor. The toilet is for the exclusive use of that room. Some rooms have a small balcony, a ceiling fan, heating, and a hair dryer. Storage is minimal - no wardrobes - so pack light. The structure is an old Madrid apartment converted into multiple rooms, and internal walls are thin. Noise from adjoining rooms and the corridor is frequent, and street-facing rooms can be loud at night. The shower has no door, so water may spread onto the floor. No air conditioning is provided; in summer, ceiling fans are the only cooling mechanism and may not be sufficient during a heatwave. Some rooms have windows that do not close fully, allowing noise and cold air to enter. Bed linen and towels are provided, but some towels may show stains.
