LE SOYEUX, Lyon

The property sits in a quiet pocket of the city centre, close to the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière and the Fresque des Lyonnais. Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport is 36 km away, and the practical route into the city is public transport or taxi. Walking is the easiest way to explore, with numerous restaurants, cafés and cultural landmarks within a few minutes. Despite the central position, the immediate surroundings stay calm, which makes it easier to relax between outings.

The double room has a private entrance, a sofa bed, a dining area, a safe deposit box and a bathroom with hairdryer. The spacious apartment adds two separate bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom with bath and three beds, making it suited to families or small groups. Rooms are carpeted and include heating, ironing facilities, a wardrobe, refrigerator, stovetop, cookware and an electric kettle. Interiors are modern, clean and well-arranged, with comfortable bedding and a pleasant view from the apartment window. Soundproofing and the quiet area help keep nights restful. No rooms offer a balcony.

Breakfast can be attached to certain room packages, so the exact options appear when choosing your dates and room. With no restaurant, main meals are taken in the city. A cluster of restaurants and cafés is about 0.5 km away, including La Salamandre, La Kolok, Traboule Kitchen, Pop Korner, Ibiza Cafe Restaurant, Demoiselles de Rochefort, Saveurs Partagees and Les Tables Claudiennes.

Recreation nearby includes an ice-skating rink, and a jazz club in the courtyard features live music by donation on some evenings, giving the stay an easy cultural entertainment option. The lack of an on-site spa or pool keeps the focus on city sightseeing and local outings rather than resort-style relaxation.

Internet access is free and runs at 236 Mbps, a connection strong enough for 4K streaming and video calls on multiple devices. The lift and concierge service simplify arrival and city logistics, and cots are available for families. Security includes CCTV outside the property and smoke alarms in all units, and an invoice can be provided.
