HOTEL LIBERTY, Paris

The hotel is situated in a central area, approximately 5 minutes on foot from Gare de l'Est train station and around 15 minutes from Gare du Nord, making it a convenient base for train travellers. Multiple metro stations are within a few minutes' walk, connecting to central sights and attractions. A bus stop is located nearby. Restaurants, cafés, and shops are plentiful in the immediate vicinity. The area is well served by public transport, but some have noted the neighbourhood can feel less secure at night, especially for solo travellers. The main attractions of central Paris are within a 20-30 minute walk.

The hotel offers different room categories, including private rooms with a private bathroom and rooms with only a sink, sharing a shower and toilet with other guests. The shared bathroom facilities are located on the floor, with one shower per two floors and a separate WC per floor. The property is older and basic, with rooms generally described as compact and functional. Some rooms have a flat-screen TV, safe, and carpeted floor. Bedding and towels are changed daily. The property has no lift, and rooms are spread across several floors, with spiral staircases on the upper levels. Road-facing rooms can pick up street noise; rooms are generally quiet at night. The heater is available but may not work in all rooms.

A daily breakfast is served for a supplement, offering a simple French set menu of a croissant, piece of baguette, butter and jam, fruit juice, and a hot drink such as coffee or tea. The croissants are noted as particularly good. Breakfast is served from 07:30. For other meals, there are numerous restaurants, brasseries, and boulangeries within a short walk of the hotel.
