Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport is 14 km away; a taxi takes about 20 minutes, the direct bus 30 minutes. Tram lines C and D stop right outside, providing easy access to the historic centre and the riverfront. Several restaurants and bars are within a 5-10 minute walk. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet at night, making it suitable for light sleepers despite the tram line.

The Cocoon double rooms are notably small, with the shower and sink in the bedroom and the toilet behind a separate door. These rooms can feel cramped for two people with luggage, and the 140 cm bed may be narrow for some. Triple and family rooms offer more space and a private enclosed bathroom. The heating is centrally controlled at 22°C and cannot be adjusted. Some rooms face the street or tram line, which can be noisy. Ground-floor rooms near the laundry may also have noise. Rooms are cleaned daily. No tea/coffee making facilities or wardrobe; open shelving is provided. The hotel offers both single and twin configurations; request a twin bed setup in advance.
