LOCANDA CA' LEON - FERRETTI HOTELS COLLECTION, Venice

The property is situated on a quiet street in the less touristy part of Venice, yet within easy walking distance of the main train station and bus stops serving the airport. It is a 7-minute walk to Frari Basilica and 400 metres from Scuola Grande di San Rocco, with Ca' d'Oro 2 km away. The immediate area has plenty of restaurants and cafés, and the water bus (vaporetto) stop is also nearby. The location is ideal for exploring both the main sights and the more local neighbourhoods, with many attractions reachable on foot within 10-25 minutes.

Rooms are air-conditioned and come with a private bathroom featuring a shower, bidet, and hairdryer. Each room includes a tea and coffee maker, a mini fridge, a work desk, a flat-screen TV, free toiletries, and a wardrobe. Family rooms consist of two separate rooms with two beds located next to each other. Room types include single, double, twin, and family configurations. Some rooms offer canal views or inner courtyard views. The accommodation has been recently renovated with a modern, clean design, and the beds are consistently described as comfortable. Note that rooms are accessed via steep stairs without a lift, and some rooms are located above a trattoria, which can cause noise at night.

The property does not have its own restaurant or breakfast service, but it offers the option to order wine or champagne for an additional charge. The surrounding area is rich with dining choices: several restaurants, cafés, and bars are within 0.3 to 0.5 km, including Ristorante Giardino d'Inverno, Arcicchetti Bakaro, Zanze XVI, Bar Da Nico, Hostaria Vecio Biavarol, and Angolo Del Gusto. For those who prefer to self-cater, the room includes a tea and coffee maker and a mini fridge.

A personal trainer is available on site for guests who wish to maintain their fitness routine during their stay, with additional charges applying. Beyond this, the property itself does not have a pool, spa, or gym. However, the surrounding area offers various off-site activities such as canoeing, cooking classes, walking tours and pub crawls, all for an additional charge. The quiet street setting and canal views provide a relaxing backdrop for a Venice break.
