The hostel is on Queens Road, just around the corner from Hendon Central tube station, placing Camden Town, Soho, and other central destinations within 30-40 minutes. Heathrow Airport is a 90-minute tube ride away (20 km), while Luton and Stansted airports are roughly an hour's drive. Local amenities include a 24-hour supermarket, a pizza outlet, a park, and multiple cafes and restaurants (including Italian, Chinese, African, and Korean cuisine) within a 5-10 minute walk. The area is quieter than central London, but street noise from the main road can be audible in rooms facing the street. Buses 113 and N113 run to Marble Arch and provide a night route back.

Choices include single, double, twin, and dormitory rooms (mixed or female-only). Dorm beds are in 6-20+ person rooms; bottom bunks require caution as headroom is limited. All beds have UK and USB charging sockets, a reading light, and a privacy curtain that covers about 50-70% of the bunk. Under-bed lockable crates are provided but locks are not included. Some private rooms have windows to internal corridors only and no direct ventilation, which can lead to stale air; they are best suited for short stays. Rooms facing the street can be noisy throughout the night, and corridor-light leakage is possible if internal windows lack blinds. Heating is available, but rooms can become very hot in summer as there is no air conditioning.

Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am and is considered adequate for the price, offering a continental-style selection. For other meals, the shared kitchen (equipped with oven, microwave, stove, kettle, toaster, fridge, and freezer) is open 8am-11pm. Several eateries within a 5-minute walk include Italian, Chinese, African, and Korean options, plus a Domino's Pizza, a coffee bar, and a 24-hour grocery. No hot breakfast or full English is served, and the kitchen is closed late at night, so plan dinner accordingly.

On-site leisure includes a games room with billiards and board games, a TV lounge, and a library of books. Evening entertainment like pub crawls and walking tours are offered (some at an additional cost). Free tennis equipment is available, and a tennis court can be used nearby for a fee. The atmosphere is geared toward meeting other travellers, making it especially popular with solo backpackers.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property, though bandwidth in some dorm rooms can be inconsistent during peak use. Luggage storage before check-in and after check-out is offered at no charge; post-check-in, you can store belongings in your bed's built-in crate or rent a locker for £5 deposit plus £1 per day. A full laundry service (washer and dryer) costs £5 for a wash and dry cycle (tokens available for £2.50, plus £0.50 for soap), and is available between 4pm and 10pm only. The 24-hour reception keeps a security key card system for building access, and the hostel is a non-smoking property.
