The hotel sits on a quiet residential street in the historic Bloomsbury district, an area known for its academic institutions and leafy squares. Many central London landmarks are within walking distance: the British Museum (10 min), Oxford Street (10 min), Regent's Park (25 min). Goodge Street (Northern Line) and Euston Square (Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City lines) are both about a 5-10 minute walk, offering direct connections to the West End, King's Cross, and beyond. Euston and King's Cross St Pancras mainline stations are 10-15 minutes on foot. The neighbourhood feels safe and well-maintained, with good pubs, cafés, and casual dining nearby. For very early departures (e.g., Luton Airport at 2am), public transport is not running; a taxi or Uber is required.

Room types include single, double, twin, and family rooms. Family rooms contain two double beds in the same room. Room sizes vary considerably: single and twin rooms can be very small, while some family rooms and refurbished doubles are more spacious. Most double beds are queen-size. Each room has an en suite shower room (generally compact), a flat-screen TV with Freeview channels, tea/coffee maker, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Some refurbished rooms feature large ceiling fans, LCD TVs, and power showers. Top-floor rooms can become very warm in summer - ceiling fans are provided, but only one family room (lower ground floor) has air conditioning. Rooms facing the street may experience traffic noise; those at the back or overlooking the garden are quieter. The building retains historic character with sloping floors in some rooms. Daily housekeeping is provided, and towels are changed on request. No rooms have a fridge, balcony, or ironing facilities. There is no elevator; twin rooms are located on the second floor (four sets of stairs).

Breakfast is available for £19 per person, served from 7:30 to 9:30 on weekdays and 8:00 to 10:00 on weekends. The continental buffet includes cereals, yoghurt, fruit, pastries, and toast. The cooked breakfast (full English or Irish) is made to order with eggs any style, bacon, sausage, beans, and grilled tomatoes. Special diets (including vegetarian and vegan) can be accommodated if requested in advance. The hotel does not have a restaurant, bar, or room service. A number of casual dining options are within a few minutes' walk, including Patisserie Valerie, Fitzrovia Belle, and KFC. Coffee and snacks are also available at Dilons café across the road.

The garden provides a quiet outdoor space to sit and relax after a day of sightseeing. It can also be used for bicycle storage upon request. There are no other wellness or leisure facilities - no swimming pool, spa, gym, or sauna.

Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. Luggage storage is offered before check-in and after checkout, but only for a few hours (not for long-term storage). Reception is open Monday-Friday 7:30-22:30 and Saturday-Sunday 8:00-22:30.
