MAINSTAY SUITES NEAR DENVER DOWNTOWN, Denver

The hotel sits on Federal Boulevard in a practical, industrial area about 8-10 minutes by car or ride-hailing service from downtown Denver. Central Station is easily reached by Lime bikes or scooters parked outside the entrance. The immediate surroundings are not pedestrian-friendly for evening walks, but the location works well for events at Empower Field at Mile High (walkable), the Colorado Convention Center (3 km away), and the Pepsi Center. Denver International Airport is 33 km away; no shuttle is available, so guests will need to drive, take a taxi, or use a ride service. Multiple bus stops on Federal provide a car-free option for some city trips.

All units are air-conditioned suites with a separate living area, a flat-screen cable TV, a sofa bed, and a work desk. The full kitchen includes a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and toaster - well stocked with utensils and basic cookware. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer, and ironing facilities are provided. Some rooms on lower floors may have limited natural light; rooms overlooking the parking lot face the road. The overall room size is generous, offering enough floor space for large luggage. Some suites have been recently renovated and feel modern, while others show wear on the furniture and bathroom fixtures. The sofa bed varies in comfort, and the standard pillows are smaller than average.

The indoor swimming pool is heated and available throughout the year, with pool towels provided. It is a family-friendly space, though the water temperature can be cool on cloudy days. The fitness centre is equipped with a treadmill and a set of dumbbells - enough for a basic workout but not for extensive training. Both the pool and fitness centre are included free of charge and accessible during the front desk hours. There is no spa, hot tub, or sauna on site.

Free public parking is available on site without a reservation, which is a significant advantage in Denver. Wi-Fi is free of charge in all rooms. The 24-hour front desk provides flexibility for late arrivals and can assist with luggage storage upon request. A business centre is also available. The property accepts American Express, Visa, Diners Club, Discover, Carte Blanche, and MasterCard. A cash incidental deposit of $100 applies. The lift and key card system have been reported to need occasional maintenance. Housekeeping is provided on request rather than daily, so guests needing fresh towels or servicing should request it by the previous night.
