MAISON PELLEGRINO, Rome

Maison Pellegrino sits on a busy street in a central Prati district area, putting the Vatican (5 minutes walk), Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Navona, and Campo de' Fiori all within 1 km. Rome Ciampino Airport is 17 km away. The immediate neighbourhood is packed with bars and restaurants - over a dozen are within 0.5 km. A bus stop across the road and tram connections provide quick access to Termini station and the Spanish Steps. The street itself sees heavy traffic, which means some rooms experience significant noise, especially with windows open. Secure access codes are used for entry, and the property is on the ground floor.

The property has six rooms on the ground floor, each with a private bathroom including a shower and bidet. Standard amenities include a minibar, tea/coffee maker, electric kettle, flat-screen TV, work desk, free Wi-Fi, and a safety deposit box. Room configurations are double (1 bed) or triple (2 beds) with an option for a cot on request. Some rooms are compact and may feel tight for two people with large luggage. Many rooms face the main road or are below street level, causing notable street noise; double windows help only to a degree. The interior is modern but has visible wear - scuff marks, stains, and dust are common. Lighting in some rooms is poor, and ventilation in bathrooms can be inadequate, sometimes leading to musty smells. No rooms have balconies.

Maison Pellegrino has no spa, wellness centre, swimming pool, or fitness area. For leisure activities, the property is within walking distance of St. Peter's Basilica, Castel Sant'Angelo, and Piazza Navona. An ice-skating rink is also nearby. Active guests will need to rely on the city's attractions and services rather than on-site amenities.

Key services include free Wi-Fi throughout the property, daily housekeeping (towels replaced on request), and luggage storage for early arrivals or late departures. An airport shuttle can be arranged for an additional fee (€80 for up to 3 passengers) for both pick-up and drop-off. A paid shuttle service is also available. Check-in and check-out are handled via a self-service code system, with no 24-hour reception. Communication with the host is by direct messaging. Bicycle parking is provided. Accepted payment methods are Visa, Maestro, CartaSi, UnionPay credit card, and MasterCard. No on-site parking is available, but a private paid parking garage is located at Via Bravaria 8. A cot is available on request for families.
