MANSARDA DREAM PORTA NUOVA, Turin

Located in a top-rated area of Turin with an 8.9 location score, the apartment is within a short walk of both Porta Nuova Metro and Railway stations, giving direct access to city-centre attractions and regional rail links. The Polytechnic University is 1 km away. Nearby attractions include Mole Antonelliana and Allianz Juventus Stadium, each 4 km from the property. A supermarket is on the corner and a pizzeria is next door, while several bars, cafés, and restaurants are within 0.5 km. The area is quiet but well-served by public transport: bus and tram stops for the city centre are a few minutes' walk away.

The apartment sleeps two comfortably in a double bed; the sofa bed in the living room is extremely uncomfortable and only suitable for a child or emergency use. The property is showing its age: furnishings are worn, the sofa bed is unusable for an adult, windows are not soundproofed (noise from outside and early morning light enter easily), and there are no blackout curtains or shutters. Air conditioning is available (the living room unit is noisy), as is heating. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, induction hob, and coffee machine. The bathroom is clean and spacious but lacks a towel rack and shower mat. Cleanliness has been inconsistent, with dust and occasional insects reported. The apartment is on the 5th floor with lift access.

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, induction hob, and coffee machine, allowing full self-catering. For eating out, a pizzeria is on the ground floor of the same building, and a supermarket is on the corner. Within a 5-minute walk, there are at least eight restaurants and bars including Bar Incontro, Gennaro Esposito, Trattoria Cerere, and Crudo Osteria Contemporanea. The historic city centre is within a 15-minute walk and offers a much wider range of dining options.

Wi-Fi is free and works reliably. A lift serves the 5th-floor apartment. The self-check-in process uses a digital ID verification system; some have raised concerns about data security, and the system can malfunction, potentially locking guests out (resolved by a neighbour). The host communicates via messaging and is generally responsive. Late check-in is possible for a fee. There is no luggage storage at the property. Parking is not available. The apartment is non-smoking. Pets are allowed on request with possible charges. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Diners Club, and MasterCard.
