MARCONI SUITES, Rome

The apartment sits in a residential area 5 km from the Roman Forum and Colosseum, well served by public transport. A bus stop is directly outside the building, with frequent services to Piazza Venezia, Termini Station, and the Vatican. The Basilica San Paolo metro station is a 15-20 minute walk, and Trastevere station is 1 km away. The surrounding streets are safe and lively, filled with bakeries, cafes, pizzerias, a gelateria, and an authentic fish restaurant. The property is outside Rome's ZTL, making it easier for those driving to access, though parking is not available on site.

Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, large wardrobes, and parquet floors. Each unit includes a tea and coffee maker, electric kettle, and a seating area with a dining table. The well-equipped kitchen is shared among up to three rooms and includes a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, and free coffee pods and biscuits. Private bathrooms are clean and modern, with a shower, bidet, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Rooms facing the street have easy access to services but may have some noise; rear-facing rooms are quieter. The property is a secure, gated apartment complex.

The shared kitchen is stocked with essentials: coffee pods, tea, biscuits, and a fridge for personal items. Guests frequently use it for breakfast and quick meals. Within 0.5 km, there are numerous choices including bakeries ('El Pan d'na volta Marconi'), pizzerias, a gelateria ('Gelateria Alpina'), and a fish restaurant ('Albanesi'). Several bars and pastry shops are nearby. The host can provide recommendations for local dining.

Leisure options are based in the neighbourhood. The Marconi district has a market, a gelateria next door, and a secure inner garden for relaxation. The nearby basilicas and the Trastevere area are within walking distance or a short bus ride. For more extensive wellness facilities, guests can explore options in central Rome.

The building has a lift, a minimarket on site, a barber/beauty shop, and a 24-hour concierge. Daily housekeeping keeps rooms spotless, and towels and toiletries are replenished as needed. Self check-in uses a web app as a key, so a charged phone with internet access is essential. The host is responsive via message. Safety features include fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and key access. Laundry service and luggage storage are not confirmed.
