Mercat Suites is set in the real centre of Valencia, surrounded by dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops. Norte Train Station is under 1 km away, while the Central Market is literally steps from the door. Most major sights-the Cathedral, La Lonja de la Seda, and the Basilica-are within a short stroll. Turia Gardens is a 14-minute walk, and Bioparc Valencia is 5 km. The beach is not walking distance but is reachable by bus, metro, or bike. The location is excellent for exploring the city on foot, though the surrounding streets are busy and can be noisy, especially on weekend nights. Drivers should note that parking is in nearby public car parks, not on-site.

Each suite is a compact studio with a private entrance, air conditioning, heating, and a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. All have a balcony-Suites 1 and 2 have wider balconies than Suite 3, which is the penthouse level. A flat-screen TV with streaming services is standard, along with free, reliable Wi-Fi. Suite 1 includes a full kitchen (hob, fridge, microwave, kettle); Suites 2 and 3 have a fridge and microwave only. The rooms are small and the space is tight - the bed often sits close to the wall, and storage is limited (no wardrobe, just a chest of drawers and a hanging rail). Some rooms may experience a persistent smell from the bathroom drain and noise from the street, as windows may not seal completely. Bed comfort varies; some mattresses have been noted as sagging. The best choice for a quiet stay is to request a room away from street noise and on a lower floor to minimise stair climbing.

Mercat Suites does not have its own restaurant or breakfast service. For self-catering, Suite 1 is equipped with a full kitchen (hob, microwave, fridge, kettle), while Suites 2 and 3 offer a fridge and microwave only. The compact kitchen areas in the studio may limit serious cooking. The immediate area is packed with dining options: within a 5-minute walk you will find a wide variety of restaurants, such as El Rall, Sagardi, Restaurante Jaume I, and many others around the Central Market. This makes eating out or buying fresh market produce very convenient. Guests wanting a fuller breakfast may prefer to visit one of the many nearby cafés and bakeries.

For relaxation within the property, there is a shared sun terrace on the top floor with city views, accessible via stairs. The three suites each have their own balcony - ideal for sitting out with a drink. The nearest large green space is the Turia Gardens, a 9 km-long park that is a 14-minute walk from the suites, perfect for jogging, cycling, or walking. The City of Arts and Sciences and the beach are a short bus, metro, or bike ride away. No pool or fitness facilities are available on site.
