HOTEL MILLEROSE, Rome

The area around Termini is busy and practical. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Piazza dei Cinquecento and nearby metro lines A and B. Many major sights are within a 15-minute walk (Colosseum, Roman Forum) or a short metro ride (Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Vatican). At the same time, the immediate street can feel rough, particularly at night, so it's best to be aware of your surroundings. Plenty of restaurants and cafés are right there, making it easy to grab a meal or a coffee without going far. The walk from the station is significantly quicker than taking a taxi due to the one-way system.

Rooms vary in size and features. Economy doubles/twins are compact but functional with en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. Standard and superior rooms include a balcony with a landmark view and a flat-screen TV. The triple room (3 single beds or 1 double + 1 single) has a private external bathroom (opposite the room, for sole use) and a balcony. Deluxe doubles add a safe. However, soundproofing is poor-noise from the hallway and neighbouring rooms is common. The lifts are old, and some rooms have cracked floor tiles. Bathrooms are often very small (shower around 50x50 cm) and may have low water pressure. Cleanliness standards vary, though many rooms are kept tidy and towels changed daily. For a quieter stay, request a room away from the street and the reception area.

There is no restaurant or bar at the hotel, so all meals are taken outside. The surrounding streets are full of places to eat-pizzeria, trattoria, and other options are within a 0.5 km walk. For early starters, a supermarket is also nearby, useful for buying snacks or drinks. If breakfast is important, confirm availability (and cost) when booking a specific room, as some room configurations may list breakfast as an option.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in all rooms and common areas. A lift serves the 6th floor. Luggage storage is free and can be used from 8:30 am until 6 pm, which is particularly useful for early arrivals or late departures. Daily housekeeping is included. The multilingual staff (English, Italian, Chinese) handle check-in smoothly, and late check-in (after 8 pm) is possible with online check-in. There is no parking on site, no shuttle to airports, and no restaurant. Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Diners Club, JCB, Discover, CartaSi, and UnionPay.
