The area has a vibrant, community feel, with chickens on the street and a strong Cuban character. Miami International Airport is 8 km away, and the beach is accessible by bus in 30-40 minutes. Public transport stops are within a 10-minute walk. Street parking is free but can be competitive; parking directly in front is not guaranteed.

All apartments include a kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, and coffee machine, plus a seating area, dining table, and flat-screen TV with streaming services. Bed sizes vary between King and Queen, and some units offer a balcony, terrace, or pool views. The building consists of 8 separate apartments on a multi-story property. Rooms facing the street can be noisy due to early traffic, while interior rooms may pick up noise from the central corridor and stairs. Some units have parquet floors. Kitchens may lack sufficient cookware, cups, and utensils for larger groups, so checking inventory ahead is advisable.

Each apartment is equipped with a kitchen (stovetop, fridge, oven, kitchenware) for self-catering. Dining out is convenient: El Exquisito Restaurant, Moshi Moshi Coral Way, and Pizza Hut are all within 0.5 km, and Calle Ocho offers numerous Cuban and Latin eateries within a 10-minute walk. The outdoor pool and hot tub are available free of charge from early morning until 10 pm. The pool area is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. The hot tub is heated, though some find it does not get very hot. The pool is cleaned but can occasionally have insects or debris. Board games and puzzles are available for indoor leisure.
