The hotel sits on a four-lane main road in a practical district. Despite the road noise, the building's soundproofing is effective. A bus stop is directly outside, and the S-Bahn station Heimfeld is roughly 8 minutes' walk (uphill) offering direct trains to Hamburg city centre in about 15-20 minutes. Miniatur Wunderland, the Port of Hamburg, and other major attractions are about a 15-minute drive. The area behind the hotel is a quiet neighbourhood, and the Friedrich-Ebert-Halle is within a 10-minute walk. On-site parking is very limited; street parking in the vicinity is difficult, particularly at night.

Rooms include soundproof walls, a flat-screen TV, a wardrobe, and free Wi-Fi. The kitchenette is equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, kitchenware, and a kettle - useful for self-catering. Some rooms have two beds (twin/double configuration) or can accommodate families. Key points from experience: rooms are large and generally quiet thanks to good sound insulation; no hairdryer or bedside table is provided; kitchen utensils are basic (limited cutlery and cookware); and room cleaning occurs only between stays, not during your stay. The bathrooms are private with a shower, and some have been recently renovated.
