NOR VILLA HOTEL, Winnipeg

The hotel is located 9 km from MTS Centre, Canadian Museum for Human Rights, and Forks Market. Union Station and the Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Centre are also within easy reach. Garden City is a 5-10 minute drive away, and Health Sciences Centre is a straightforward route. The area offers many fast food and casual dining options, plus a convenience store and No Frills grocery almost next door. Private free parking on site makes car-based travel easy, while the bus stop in front provides an alternative for city-centre trips without driving.

Standard double rooms offer either one double or two double beds. The suite includes a separate bedroom, a living room with a pull-out sofa, a fireplace, a kitchenette, and two smart TVs. All rooms feature air conditioning, heating, parquet floors, a tea and coffee maker (Keurig in some), mini fridge, and free toiletries. Bathrooms are renovated with walk-in showers. Noise from live music in the bar can be heard in the hallway, but rooms are effectively soundproofed for a quiet night. Bedding and comfort are rated highly, and rooms are described as basic but clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Bull & Fillys serves American dishes in a family-friendly setting with unique décor. The menu includes items like French onion soup and beer-battered Manitoba pickerel. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 to 16:00, so it is not available for dinner. A hearty traditional breakfast is also offered. Live music and a bar create a lively atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights. For meals outside restaurant hours, many fast food and casual dining options are within walking distance or a short drive.

The Nor Villa Hotel offers a casino, complimentary billiards, and live music (typically on weekends) in the bar/lounge area. There is no swimming pool or spa, but the basement houses Smash & Ax, an axe-throwing and rage room experience. These facilities add a distinct leisure offering for evenings without leaving the property.
