The surrounding area is lively but includes visible homelessness, drug use, and heavy police presence at the station; many travellers rely on the short subway walk after dark and consider the hotel secure once inside. Airport rides: from LaGuardia ($35-$50, 30 minutes), JFK ($50-$75, 45 minutes), Newark ($65-$85, 1 hour).

Room options include Superior King (granite bath, 2 adults), rooms with two queen beds, and Deluxe Queen rooms with a sofa bed (max 5 guests). Burns and Marx rooms are 47 m² each; many rooms have high ceilings.
