The resort sits in the heart of the Outer Banks, 3 km from the Wright Brothers National Memorial and 5 km from Jockey's Ridge State Park. Multiple restaurants, including The Bonzer Shack, Five Guys, and Stack 'Em High Pancakes are within a 5-minute walk. Upscale shopping at Tanger Outlet Mall is 11 km away. The central location makes it easy to explore from Corolla to Ocracoke, but a car is recommended for reaching attractions like Fort Raleigh National Historical Site (26 km). Free private parking is available with a reservation.

All units feature air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, and a kitchen equipped with stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and cookware. Linens and towels are provided. One-bedroom apartments (first level) have dune views and no ocean view, while some two- and three-bedroom units in Beach Club II have oceanfront views and balconies. Master bedrooms in some two-bedroom units include a hot tub. Beds are generally firm; mattresses vary in comfort across units. Rooms are spacious but some have dated furnishings. Noise from upper floors is possible, and units facing the pool may have less privacy. Elevator access is available to all floors, though outages are reported.

Guests cook in their own kitchen or walk 2-5 minutes to restaurants such as The Bonzer Shack, Food Dudes, and JK's Restaurant. Seafood is abundant in the area, and grocery stores are nearby. For a treat, Stack 'Em High Pancakes and Bob's Grill serve breakfast within 0.5 km. There are no breakfast packages; guests supply their own meals. The kitchens include standard coffee machines and all cooking essentials.

The indoor heated pool is open year-round; outdoor pools are seasonal. Two indoor pools and one outdoor pool are available, along with a children's pool. Hot tubs are located in some units and in common areas, though outdoor hot tubs are occasionally closed. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided around the pools. Active guests can play tennis, table tennis, badminton, or use the volleyball court. The on-site activities program includes aerobics, bingo, and other games. The beach is steps away and offers fishing (license required). A fish cleaning station is available. The playground and board games cater to families.

Parking requires a reservation but is free and private. WiFi is free in units. The front desk operates 24 hours, and security is present around the clock. Elevators serve all floors, though they have been reported out of service at times. Laundry is available on site (no in-unit machines). Daily housekeeping is available for an additional charge. There are no business facilities or airport shuttle. Service animals are permitted. Key access and CCTV provide security.
