The tram stop runs right past the building. In the lively Friedrichshain district, you can walk to countless restaurants, bars, and supermarkets within minutes. The East Side Gallery is 2 minutes away on foot, and the Mercedes-Benz Arena a 10-minute walk. Berghain and Watergate nightclubs are also within easy walking distance. For drivers, the A100 motorway is easily reached, and the on-site parking courtyard is securely gated.

Private single, double, twin and quad rooms each come with a private bathroom (shower, sink, toilet). Many rooms also include a flat-screen TV and a seating area. Dormitory options include 4-bed, 6-bed, and 8-bed rooms; some have a private bathroom while others share floor-level shower and toilet facilities. Female-only dorms are available. Rooms are simply furnished, with a desk, wardrobe, heating, and soundproofing. There is no air conditioning, and windows in street-facing rooms may let in noise from the busy road and tram. The building is a historic monument with two lifts, and some rooms offer panoramic views of the city or the railway station. Extra items such as hairdryers (€10 deposit) or locker locks (€5 deposit) are available at reception.

The breakfast buffet costs €10 per person and offers a continental spread with breads, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, fruit, hot drinks, and juice.
