Warschauer Straße underground and S-Bahn station is immediately outside, providing a 6-minute direct S-Bahn ride to Alexanderplatz Square and fast connections across Berlin. The tram stop runs right past the building. In the lively Friedrichshain district, you can walk to countless restaurants, bars, and supermarkets within minutes. The East Side Gallery is 2 minutes away on foot, and the Mercedes-Benz Arena a 10-minute walk. Berghain and Watergate nightclubs are also within easy walking distance. For drivers, the A100 motorway is easily reached, and the on-site parking courtyard is securely gated.

Private single, double, twin and quad rooms each come with a private bathroom (shower, sink, toilet). Many rooms also include a flat-screen TV and a seating area. Dormitory options include 4-bed, 6-bed, and 8-bed rooms; some have a private bathroom while others share floor-level shower and toilet facilities. Female-only dorms are available. Rooms are simply furnished, with a desk, wardrobe, heating, and soundproofing. There is no air conditioning, and windows in street-facing rooms may let in noise from the busy road and tram. The building is a historic monument with two lifts, and some rooms offer panoramic views of the city or the railway station. Extra items such as hairdryers (€10 deposit) or locker locks (€5 deposit) are available at reception.

The breakfast buffet costs €10 per person and offers a continental spread with breads, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, fruit, hot drinks, and juice. Dietary options such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, and kosher are available on request. The lobby bar serves affordable drinks and snacks around the clock, and there is also a vending machine for drinks and snacks. For self-catering, the shared kitchen (open 7:00-22:00) is equipped with electric stoves, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, freezer, pots, pans, and cutlery. A supermarket and many restaurants are within a few minutes' walk, though the hostel does not have its own restaurant.

Inside, the spacious lobby bar features a pool table and table football, and there is a dedicated games room with darts and table tennis. Cycling is available for exploring the city, and bicycle rental is offered for an additional charge. The outdoor terrace has sun loungers and umbrellas, and a courtyard garden is open for relaxing or socialising. Live sport events are broadcast for free in common areas. There is no spa, swimming pool, or wellness centre on the property.
