The hotel sits directly on western Berlin's main shopping and entertainment boulevard, with Kurfürstendamm, the Theater des Westens, and Memorial Church all within a few minutes' walk. Zoologischer Garten station (U-Bahn, S-Bahn, and regional trains) is close by, providing direct links to Tegel, Schönefeld, and BER airports as well as the ICC exhibition centre. Multiple bus stops and the city bus line 100-which stops at nearly all central sights-are within 300 metres. The area is dense with restaurants, bars, cafés, and a Lidl supermarket. Parking costs 25 EUR per day on site, though access is narrow and a deposit is required; a nearby public garage offers an alternative.

Accommodation choices range from single and double rooms to triple rooms with three single beds, family rooms, and two-bedroom apartments with kitchenettes. Apartments include a stove, oven, and refrigerator making self-catering possible. Rooms are carpeted with parquet or carpeted floors and have heating; air conditioning is present only in some units. Fifth-floor rooms are under the roof and can be hot in summer; some of these have supplementary air conditioning. Road-facing rooms let in street noise. A historic preserved staircase adds character but also means multiple staircases before reaching rooms above the fourth floor. Extra bedding is provided, and daily housekeeping changes towels and vacuums the floor.
