The property offers easy access to the city: a 3-minute walk to a tram stop (tram to centre €1.80) and a nearby bus line. The city centre is also reachable on foot in 15-20 minutes via quiet streets. Free street parking is available within 200 metres, though cars must be moved after 9am on weekdays. The surrounding area includes parks (Public Garden, Aire de Jeux Spielplatz), museums (Wine and Trade Museum 17-minute walk, CAPC 2 km), and several restaurants and bakeries within 400-500 metres. Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport is a 13-minute drive away; no airport shuttle is offered.

The chalet is a standalone wooden cabin at the back of the garden with a kitchenette (microwave, tea/coffee facilities), a sofa bed, a work desk, a dining area, and a terrace with garden views. The suite is an upstairs apartment with two separate bedrooms, a living room, a well-equipped kitchen (stovetop, oven, refrigerator, tea/coffee maker), a flat-screen TV, and a washer/dryer. Beds are large and comfortable. The chalet has no washing machine; the suite does. Both units are soundproofed and quiet. Note: no rooms have a balcony. The host provides all basic kitchen supplies, towels, and toiletries.

Breakfast is prepared only when the host is on-site; coffee, tea, and butter are always available. Guests should request breakfast in advance if they want the full offering. Several dining options are within a short walk: ANTONE Artisan Boulanger (bakery, 500 m), O Monte Alegre (restaurant, 400 m), Siem Reap, and others. A Carrefour City supermarket is also conveniently located for self-catering. The host often provides local restaurant recommendations.

The fenced garden is safe for pets and provides a quiet spot for meals or lounging. Nearby parks include the Public Garden (15-minute walk) and Aire de Jeux Spielplatz (13-minute walk). Off-site activities such as canoeing, golf (within 3 km), and horse riding can be arranged for an additional charge. The area is generally very quiet, with birdsong audible from the terrace.

The property offers 24-hour self check-in via a secure access code. Pets are allowed at no extra charge; baby cot available on request. Luggage storage can be arranged with the host. The host provides a welcome breakfast and local tips. Non-smoking throughout, smoke alarms installed. A 24-hour front desk is not staffed but the host is responsive via messaging.
