PIGNETO SUITE APPARTAMENTO 50 M DA METRO C, Rome

The apartment is set on a quiet residential street in the vibrant Pigneto neighbourhood, known for its authentic Roman food scene and lively local culture. The metro stop (line C) is literally around the corner, and bus stops are within a 5-minute walk, making it easy to reach all major Rome attractions. A supermarket and several shops are directly opposite the building, and numerous highly rated pizzerias, pasticcerias, and restaurants are within a 2-5-minute stroll. The walkable area offers a non-touristy experience while still being well connected. The host can arrange a cheap transfer during public transport strikes, which have occurred in Rome.

The apartment features a private entrance, a living room, two separate bedrooms, and two bathrooms (one en-suite with shower and bidet). The master bedroom is comfortable and all rooms are air-conditioned, a significant advantage during Rome's hot summers. The kitchen is fully equipped with stovetop, oven, refrigerator, kitchenware, and a washing machine. A large wrap-around terrace (accessible from every room) offers a fantastic spot for morning coffee or evening drinks, overlooking the neighbourhood and hills. All rooms are well-furnished with parquet floors, a flat-screen TV, free toiletries, and a seating/dining area. Cots are available on request for families. The apartment is on the 7th floor with lift access, but the lift only goes to floor 6, so there is a short flight of stairs to the apartment itself.

The kitchen includes a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, kitchenware, electric kettle, and tea/coffee facilities, making self-catering easy. A supermarket directly opposite the building means stocking up on groceries is effortless. The surrounding streets feature a high density of well-regarded dining options: Kebabone and Mary Pizza are a 3-minute walk; Pizzalampo, Corsetti Gastronomia Pasticceria Catering, and Il Cannolo Siciliano are within 5-7 minutes. For pastries and coffee, Bar Pasticceria Dolc'e is just around the corner. The host may provide a small welcome gift of pizza or local food/drinks on arrival, and can recommend a great restaurant in the area.

Internet is free and fast (up to 54 Mbps, suitable for streaming 4K and video calls). Air conditioning and heating are provided and free. The apartment includes a washing machine, ironing facilities, and free toiletries. Express check-in/out and private check-in/out are available. The host (Sandro) is known for meeting guests at the metro station, providing neighbourhood tours, restaurant recommendations, and helping with transport during strikes. Safety features include key access, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. No parking is available on-site. The lift serves the building but requires a short staircase to the 7th-floor apartment.
