QUALITY INN CHARLESTON - WEST ASHLEY, Charleston

The hotel is situated on Savannah Highway, 13 km from Charleston International Airport, 10 km from Charleston City Marina, Harmon Field, Cannon Park, and The Citadel, and within 12 km of Marion Square and the South Carolina Aquarium. While the area offers practical convenience - including nearby dining options such as China Fun (0.5 km) and several restaurants within 3 km - the immediate parking lot and adjacent road experience noise from traffic and late-night activity. Access to downtown Charleston and shopping areas is feasible by car within about 15 minutes, but the location is less suited to pedestrians.

The hotel provides air-conditioned double rooms and family rooms, both with a desk and seating area. Family rooms include 2 beds. Rooms lack balconies and private bathrooms, and Wi-Fi is free. The condition of rooms varies significantly, with some described as run down - featuring broken door locks, warped doors, damaged bathroom components, visible mold, and aging furnishings. Noise is a frequent issue: road-facing rooms pick up traffic sound, and walls are thin enough to hear neighboring rooms. Recent renovations are in progress, and some rooms have been updated to a higher standard. For a better chance of a satisfactory stay, request a newly renovated room.
