QUALITY INN & SUITES NRG PARK - MEDICAL CENTER, Houston

Located off the highway, the hotel provides easy access for drivers, yet interior rooms remain quiet from road noise. NRG Stadium is within a 10-minute walk, saving on event parking. The Medical Center shuttle operates on weekdays only from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Houston Hobby Airport is nearby, while Rice University, the Houston Zoo, and the George R. Brown Convention Center are a short drive away. Although the surrounding area has limited dining within walking distance, several restaurants are 1-2 km away. The traffic near NRG can be heavy during events. A car or rideshare is recommended for most trips.

The property offers family rooms with two beds, suites with a separate seating area, and rooms with two bathrooms - ideal for groups. All rooms include a TV with cable channels, a work desk, hairdryer, and ironing facilities. Not all rooms have a closet, which can be a practical inconvenience. The suites are spacious, with many providing a balcony. While some rooms are reported as clean and comfortable, others may show signs of age, including worn furniture, mold, and outdated fixtures. Air conditioning units vary from old window-style to newer systems. For reliable sleep, request a room away from main road traffic. The property can accommodate special requests for early or late check-out, but these are not guaranteed.

The hotel lists a swimming pool and fitness centre among its amenities, but their operational status has been inconsistent. The pool has been closed for extended periods due to maintenance or damage. The fitness centre has also been unavailable at times. Guests seeking guaranteed leisure facilities should confirm current availability before booking. A sun terrace and outdoor furniture provide basic outdoor relaxation options. No spa, sauna, or other wellness facilities are on site.

Parking is free and on-site, but reservations are not possible; accessible parking is available. The shuttle runs Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM only between the hotel and the Houston Medical Center - no airport service or trips to NRG Stadium. Daily housekeeping is included, and laundry services are available for an extra charge. The business centre offers free fax/photocopying and meeting facilities for a fee. Safety deposit boxes are free at reception. The property accepts pets ($20/day, max 2). Wi-Fi is free throughout but can be slow and does not require a password, which is a security concern. The 24-hour front desk can assist with luggage storage and late check-in. Express check-in/out is available.
