QUALITY INN & SUITES RENO AIRPORT, Reno

The hotel sits just off Highway 395, providing quick access to the airport (a few minutes by free shuttle), downtown Reno, and the convention center. The surrounding area is a mix of car dealerships and fast-food outlets - a handful of quick-service restaurants (Wendy's, McDonald's) are within a 0.5-1 km walk, but there are no full-service restaurants or grocery stores in immediate walking distance. A Walmart and Costco are about a 20-minute walk away. The Reno Fireside Lounge is a five-minute stroll. The property's location is convenient for travellers with a car or those using the free shuttle, but getting to most dining and entertainment requires a short drive.

Guest rooms feature carpeted floors, tea and coffee-making facilities, free local telephone calls, and cable/satellite TV. Many rooms include a kitchenette with a large fridge, microwave, and sink - useful for longer stays. Beds are consistently described as comfortable and supportive, with plenty of pillows. Some units feature a private jacuzzi tub. Upper-floor rooms tend to be quieter. Rooms are generally clean but may show wear; some have reported issues with older furniture, stained carpets, and inconsistent maintenance (loose fixtures, broken AC units). The property is non-smoking throughout, though some hallways may retain smoke odour. Air conditioning units can be noisy in certain rooms.

The outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi are open seasonally and are shared with the adjoining Baymont Inn. While some have enjoyed the warm pool, the facility has occasionally been closed for maintenance or renovation. The fitness centre contains basic equipment, though a few machines have been reported as non-functional. Laundry facilities (coin-operated washers and dryers) are available on-site for guest use.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout, along with a complimentary airport shuttle that operates on request (not a fixed schedule - call the front desk to arrange a pickup). Parking is free and available on-site without reservation, but the lot is shared and can fill up, especially later in the evening; street parking nearby is also limited. A business centre is available at no extra charge. Daily housekeeping is included, though consistency in room cleaning and towel replacement has varied. The 24-hour front desk offers private check-in/out, an ATM, and luggage storage. The property is wheelchair accessible and has a lift. Safety features include CCTV, key card access, and smoke alarms.
