The Angel Guimerá metro station (Lines 3 and 5) is within a short walk, providing direct connections to the airport and the City of Arts and Sciences. A bus stop 150 metres away links to both the City of Arts and Sciences and the beaches. The central market (Mercado Central) and historic sights are about 10 minutes on foot. The property is well served by public transport, making a car unnecessary for most visitors. A supermarket and several bars and restaurants are located right across the street, adding day-to-day convenience. The hostel is also approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus station.

Dorm rooms are spacious and sleep 4 to 12 people; bunk beds do not have curtains in all rooms, and beds are not numbered or pre-assigned, which can lead to uncertainty. Each dorm provides individual lockers (with key deposit) and adapters for charging. Power points are limited - typically only one or two per room - making extension cords a common need. Air conditioning is available in all rooms, though thermostat control may be limited. Rooms facing the road can be very noisy; soundproofing is minimal, with thin walls and unsealed doors that let in street noise. The double rooms with private bathrooms offer more quiet and privacy. A private loft apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, and washing machine is also available. The property has a lift for floor access. No rooms have a balcony.

Breakfast is served at the restaurant area behind reception; it is a fixed menu (not a buffet) and offers good value for the price. The shared kitchen is well equipped with a toaster, kettle, coffee machine, two hobs, a microwave, and cooking utensils. A supermarket across the street makes self-catering easy. The property also has a snack bar, vending machines for drinks and snacks, and a restaurant (Restaurante 64) serving Mediterranean lunch from 13:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday. The on-site bar and restaurant are available to guests. Several other dining options are within a 300-metre walk, including Italian, tapas, and casual bar food. Children's meals are available on request.

The gym area is practical for light training. The property does not have a swimming pool or spa. The shared lounge and TV area (within the kitchen) is the only social common space, though it can be warm as there is no separate air conditioning for this area.
