The ADO bus from Cancun Airport stops four blocks away, and combis (minivans) to nearby destinations are within a short walk. The surrounding area is packed with street food stalls, supermarkets, and restaurants such as Sayulita and Mimosa Resto & Canteen, all within 300-500 metres. Fundadores Park is a few blocks away, and the ferry terminal to Cozumel is also reachable on foot. This location suits travellers who want to explore the city centre and beach without relying on taxis.

Private double rooms include air conditioning, a kitchenette with refrigerator, tea/coffee maker, a private bathroom with walk-in shower, and an outdoor dining area with garden views. Dormitories offer single beds with air conditioning (timed 9pm-9am), a locker with RFID lock, and are segregated by gender - including a dedicated female dorm with its own bathroom. Towels and sheets are included. The property is older and some areas show signs of wear, but daily housekeeping keeps rooms tidy. Beds are frequently noted as comfortable, making this a solid choice for budget travellers prioritising location and basic comfort.

No kitchen is available for cooking, but the hostel provides a shared microwave, refrigerator, and blender for basic meal preparation. There is also a barbecue area (BBQ facilities) that can be used gratis. For full meals, the surrounding streets offer numerous restaurants and street food stalls within a 5-minute walk, such as Las Quekas, Los Machacados, and Dona Juanita y Cia. Both savoury and sweet options are plentiful, and the central location means you are never far from a meal.

The outdoor swimming pool is open all year and is complemented by a sun terrace, garden, and picnic area - ideal for socialising or lounging. Barbecue facilities are available free of charge. Inside, there is a games room with darts and board games, and the hostel organises activities almost every day. A dive shop operates on site, and off-site diving can be arranged at an additional cost. The garden and pool area are well maintained and provide a welcome break from the heat.
