RELAIS VATICAN SECRET, Rome

The location is a strong asset: the Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, and St. Peter's Basilica are all within a 10-15 minute walk. Piazza Navona is a 12-minute stroll away, and Piazza del Popolo is 1 km. The nearest metro station is about a 10-minute walk, and the airport shuttle bus stop is around the corner, making it practical for exploring central Rome on foot or by public transport. Evening outings feel safe and walkable, though some rooms on main roads experience traffic noise - requesting a quieter side is recommended. For airport transfers, a taxi or the shuttle bus stop nearby are reliable options.

There is no dining facility or breakfast included. The room is stocked with a coffee machine, capsules, a kettle, and tea bags, along with a minibar. For meals, the surrounding area offers numerous options within a 3-minute walk: TED Lobster and Burgers, Porto Fish & Chips, Ristorante Cesare, Mama Bistrot, Pizza House Trilussa, and several other cafés and burger spots. A supermarket is also nearby for self-catering supplies. This setup works well for independent travellers who prefer to eat out or prepare simple breakfasts in the room.

The spa is a bookable, private facility - not shared with other guests - and must be reserved in advance. The package includes exclusive access to a hot tub, a Finnish sauna, a sensory shower, and a relaxation area with herbal tea and fruit. It is an additional-cost service and not included in the room price. Booking at least 24 hours ahead is required. No other leisure facilities such as a pool or fitness centre are reported.
