COLONNA LUXURY APARTMENT, Rome

Located in the upscale, safe Prati neighbourhood, this apartment provides a calm residential base within walking distance of major sights. The Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica are a 20-minute walk away, and Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, and the historic centre are all reachable on foot (20-30 minutes) or via the nearby metro (Lepanto line A). Bus stops are also very close, and Termini station is a direct metro ride. Several excellent restaurants, cafés, and shops line the surrounding streets. The apartment is outside the ZTL (restricted traffic zone), making it car-accessible without fines. Ciampino Airport is 17 km away; the paid shuttle service or a metro-train combination covers the route efficiently.

The apartment comprises 1 living room with sofa bed and dining table, 2 separate bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms (one with shower, one with an additional separate WC). The master bedroom has a queen bed (200 cm length), the second bedroom offers a twin/queen option, and the sofa bed adds capacity for a fifth guest. All rooms are air-conditioned with individual controls, soundproofed against street noise, and equipped with flat-screen TVs. The large windows face a quiet street, but rooms on the main road side may pick up traffic noise - requesting a courtyard or quieter orientation is recommended. The property is modern, clean, and well-maintained with quality bedding and free toiletries. A coffee machine (with supplies), kettle, and a welcome bottle of water are provided.

The apartment does not include a pool, spa, or fitness centre. However, the central location encourages walking as the main form of leisure: St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Gardens, and the Tiber River pathways are all within a 15- to 20-minute walk. For structured exercise, several gyms and a yoga studio operate in Prati, and the nearby Villa Borghese park (20 minutes on foot) offers jogging paths, a lake, and a zoo.
