RESIDENCE EUROPA, Rome

The Residence Europa is set in a Umbertine building in the Monti area, one of Rome's most central neighbourhoods. Roma Termini Train Station and the Colosseum are both within a 10-minute walk, while the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and other major sights are 15-20 minutes on foot. The metro is about 10 minutes away, and bus stops are 2 minutes from the door. The area is safe and lively, with numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops within a few blocks. Despite being close to Via Nazionale, rooms facing the inner courtyard are notably quiet. The walking access to attractions means a car is not needed, and the lack of on-site parking makes driving impractical.

Residence Europa does not have a restaurant or serve breakfast. Each apartment is equipped with a full kitchenette - including a stovetop, microwave, kettle, toaster, and utensils - so you can prepare your own meals. The Monti district offers a wide choice of Italian, Indian, and Japanese restaurants within a 5-minute walk, plus a café just outside the building that serves coffee and pastries. The host can provide recommendations for gluten-free and other dietary needs. For a quick morning start, the nearby cafés are a practical alternative to cooking. The property itself has no bar or room service.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. A lift serves the 4th and 5th floors (a few steps from the entrance). Reception provides free luggage storage, a safe deposit box, and free laundry service. Self check-in and check-out are available with a locker system, and the host is responsive via WhatsApp. Private check-in/out is offered. The property has CCTV in common areas, fire extinguishers, and key card access. Cots are available on request. No pets are allowed and smoking is prohibited. Air conditioning and heating are fitted in all apartments. No daily housekeeping is provided - cleaning is done once a week for stays longer than 7 days. No airport shuttle or parking is available.
