Nation station is also nearby, offering RER A connections to Disneyland Paris. The surrounding area is safe and practical, with a supermarket, bakeries, and a fruit shop within a few minutes' walk. While the immediate street is not touristy, the excellent public transport links make the entire city centre easily accessible. The area is generally quiet, though the entrance door and poor soundproofing mean street noise can be heard from the studio.

Units are compact and best suited for couples or one adult with a child. The main bed is a double, and the sofa bed for a third person is short - comfortable only for children or very short adults. Each studio has a fully equipped kitchenette with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and kitchenware. The private bathroom includes a shower, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. Some rooms feature a view of the inner courtyard, which is quiet, but street-facing rooms are noisier. The furniture is basic, and cleanliness upon arrival can be inconsistent. A fan is provided for hot weather, but there is no air conditioning. Windows open for ventilation but are small, and the building layout makes manoeuvring with large luggage difficult.

Utensils and cookware are provided, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. There is no restaurant or bar on site, and breakfast is not available. However, several dining options are within a 5-minute walk, including Chez Victor, Com' a la Maison, Le Millau, Sushi Star, Mon Viet, Taj Mahal, Il Santo, and Marche Pop. A supermarket is also nearby for groceries.

The local area offers an ice-skating rink and boating, providing recreational options beyond standard sightseeing. Public transport is well-connected, making it easy to reach further attractions such as the Louvre Museum and Luxembourg Gardens. The apartment itself has no pool, spa, or gym facilities.
