RESTART ACCOMMODATIONS ALDOBRANDINI E SCIARRA, Rome

The apartments each contain a living room, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom with shower. The Sciarra unit has a normal bed plus a sofa bed, and can comfortably sleep up to three people; the Aldobrandini unit has one bed and a sofa (not a pull-out). Both apartments are on the upper ground floor with windows - the Sciarra apartment faces a quiet inner courtyard, while the Aldobrandini overlooks the street. Kitchens are fully equipped with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, kitchenware, kettle, tea and coffee-making facilities, plus a dining area. Extra touches include a free welcome bottle of wine, olive oil, salt, spices and basic personal care items. The air conditioning works well and is split between the living room and bedroom for independent control. Memory foam pillows, comfortable beds, streaming-capable flat-screen TVs, ironing facilities, and a hairdryer are standard. The two-apartment setup offers privacy and is popular with couples, solo travellers, and small groups who prefer a home base with full amenities over a hotel room.

The property itself has a restaurant and offers complimentary wine and champagne. For those who prefer to eat out, the immediate neighbourhood features a dense concentration of dining options. Within a 200-metre radius you will find Naumachia, Trattoria Luzzi, Giulio é Sisto, Ristorante Isidoro, i Clementini, Mangio bio, and Pizzeria di Sforza Piero al Colosseo. Three restaurants - Giulio é Sisto, Naumacchia, and Trattoria Luzzi - have confirmed opening hours from 12:00 to midnight daily. Traditional gelato is available at Antica Gelateria De Matteis just a short walk away. The apartment kitchenette also allows for self-catering: pans, utensils, salt, oil and spices are provided, and a supermarket is a 2-minute walk for groceries. There is no separate breakfast service; light morning meals (coffee, pastries) can be picked up at nearby cafés.

No pool, spa, gym, sauna, or games room is available at this property. Leisure activity is centred on walking to the Colosseum (5 minutes), the Roman Forum, and other historic sites. The apartment itself is equipped with streaming services (Netflix) and a TV for downtime. Bicycle rental is available nearby. The quiet residential street and the inner courtyard-facing apartment make for a calm environment, suitable for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

Wi-Fi is free throughout. The property offers private check-in and check-out, concierge service, and full-day security with CCTV and key access. Luggage storage is available at a partner location a 2-minute walk away; dropping luggage on arrival is free, and a 20% discount applies for using the service on check-out day. The paid airport shuttle starts at €60 for 1-3 passengers and goes up to €100 for 7-8 passengers, with an additional €10 fee for pick-ups before 08:00 or after 20:00. Laundry service and fax/photocopying are available for an additional charge. An ATM/cash machine is on site. The apartments are non-smoking throughout, and pets are allowed on request with possible charges. Cotton bibs and toiletries are provided upon request. The service team communicates via WhatsApp and is known for being responsive and helpful for early check-in, airport transfers, and local recommendations.
