HOTEL ROBINSON, Rome

The hotel is positioned on Via Marsala, facing the main exit of Termini Station. This gives immediate access to Rome's entire public transport network, including the hop-on-hop-off bus stop. The area around Termini is busy and practical, with many restaurants, minimarkets, and shops within a 5-minute walk. Via Nazionale and the multiethnic market at Piazza Vittorio are both within a 10-minute stroll. While the immediate vicinity can feel less polished at night, the constant foot traffic and 24-hour reception provide a sense of security. For car-free travellers, this location is ideal for exploring Rome and for easy airport transfers via the Leonardo Express train.

Rooms are compact but functional, with tiled floors and essential amenities. The orthopaedic beds provide good support, and air conditioning is effective. Bathrooms are small, and the shower area lacks a sealed stall, which can cause the floor to get wet. Some rooms have no natural light or only a window facing an inner courtyard. Road-facing rooms may experience street noise, while courtyard rooms are quieter. The decor is dated and maintenance issues like mold or drain odour have been noted in a minority of rooms. For a short transit stay, the rooms are adequate and generally clean; for longer stays, request a room with a window and natural light.

Leisure facilities are minimal but practical. The massage chair offers a way to relax after a day of sightseeing. Free walking tours are a convenient option for exploring Rome on foot, with no additional cost. The garden and terrace provide outdoor seating, and outdoor furniture is available. No pool, gym, or spa are on site, making this property better suited to travellers focused on city exploration and transit rather than resort-style amenities.
