ROMAN HOUSE - TERMINI ESQUILINO, Rome

The apartment sits in the city centre, ideal for rail and metro access. Termini provides direct train and bus connections to both Fiumicino and Ciampino airports (Ciampino is 14 km away, Fiumicino is further via the Leonardo Express). The Colosseum is 1 km on foot. The street itself is well-lit at night, but the immediate area around Termini station can feel busy and less polished, and the alley behind the building is less comfortable at night. Numerous restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. Supermarkets and shops are also nearby, making self-catering easy.

The apartment is spacious and includes a fully equipped kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, tea and coffee maker, electric kettle, and dining table. The air-conditioned living room has seating, a flat-screen TV, and leads to a balcony with garden views. A private washing machine is available. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. Note that the bedroom facing the street can receive noise, and the internal courtyard side is quieter. Some parts of the building are older, and the apartment may feel more dated in person than in photos, with tired furniture and worn mattresses in some units. The elevator is very small (fits one person with a suitcase) but present.

Guests can prepare their own meals using the kitchen's stovetop, oven, refrigerator, and kitchenware. A tea and coffee maker and an electric kettle are provided, though supplies of coffee and tea are not guaranteed. Over a dozen restaurants and trattorias are within a very short walk (0.5 km), including Trattoria Cecio, Ristorante Leonetti, and Aquila Nera, offering varied dining options without needing transport. No breakfast service, restaurant, or bar is available on site.

The property does not offer a pool, spa, gym, or garden for guest use. Leisure options are confined to the apartment itself, including a TV and the balcony with garden views. The historic centre of Rome, including the Colosseum and other major sights, is within walking distance.

The property is equipped with free WiFi available in all areas. A lift provides access to the upper floor, though it is very small. Family rooms are available, and the entire apartment is non-smoking. A private washing machine is provided in the unit. Luggage storage is not offered by the property, but storage lockers can be found nearby. Check-in is from 15:00, check-out by 11:00. Cleaning and maintenance standards have been inconsistent in the past; it is advisable to confirm the exact condition of the apartment and all appliances before arrival.
