HAMBURG ROOM, Hamburg

The property sits in St. Georg, a lively central neighbourhood with many restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. The Mönckebergstraße shopping street is 1 km away. The area includes a park nearby for relaxation. At night, the neighbourhood can feel less safe, with visible drug activity and homeless populations around the station. This makes the location best suited for travellers who are comfortable in a dense urban environment and who prioritise transport and walking access over a quiet, residential setting. The tram stop is also close by, providing easy access to the city centre without driving.

Room types include double, triple and quadruple rooms with both private and shared bathroom options. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious, but minimal in storage - there is no wardrobe. Family rooms feature four double beds. The single bed is 80 cm wide. Rooms have carpeted floors. Some rooms are located above a bar/club, which can produce noise until late at night. Rooms facing the street also pick up noise from the neighbourhood. For a quieter stay, requesting a room away from the street or bar area is advisable. Rooms are cleaned and provided with fresh towels daily. An electric kettle with tea/coffee and a bottle of water are in some rooms.

No breakfast or restaurant service is available on-site. The area around the property has many restaurants, including Thai & indisches Restaurant Curry Lounge, Singh Indian Restaurant, Yummies Deli, Cox, Vasco da Gama and Pabla Sweet Restaurant, all within 0.5 km. Supermarkets are also nearby. Guests wanting breakfast can find cafés and bakeries in the immediate vicinity. For dinner and drinks, the surrounding streets offer a wide variety of cuisines.

Check-in is automated via a key-card system requiring a valid passport or ID card; the check-in location is approximately 300 m from the accommodation at Steindamm 35. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out. The reception is staffed only until 19:00. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but many are nearby. The property offers family rooms, non-smoking rooms throughout, and safety features including CCTV in common areas, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers and key card access. A kettle and tea/coffee are available in some rooms. Housekeeping provides daily cleaning and towel changes.
