SALAMANCA SUITES BY ARCO, Madrid

The property sits on a quiet residential street, roughly 3 km from Gran Via Metro Station. Taxis are easy to hail from the front door even during peak times. The surrounding area offers numerous dining options, including La Racion and El Chiringuito de Camilo, all within 0.5 km. For longer trips, the 24-hour reception building is the designated key exchange point; it is also a useful landmark when returning at night. The neighbourhood is calm, making it easier to rest, but the apartment is close enough to Madrid's main attractions for sightseeing by foot or short cab ride.

Each apartment includes a flat-screen TV, ironing equipment, and a kitchen equipped for basic cooking and food storage. The bathroom is a stand-alone wet room with a shower. While some units feature a separate sleeping area from the living space, the overall fit is best suited for one or two adults. The apartments are located in a building with 24-hour reception, which provides key pickup and a point of contact. The property's internal condition varies: some apartments are described as clean and well-maintained, while others have reported maintenance issues such as drainage problems or outdated furniture. Light sleepers should be aware that some rooms may face nightlife noise from nearby venues.

Each apartment includes a kitchenette with a hob, microwave, and washing machine. Basic utensils and crockery are provided. The neighbourhood has several dining options within 0.5 km, including Spanish, international, and takeaway choices. For a fuller meal or a morning coffee, outlets such as Maison Kayser, El Pan Nuestro, and Lots Coffee House are all within a few minutes' walk.

WiFi is free for all guests and available throughout the property. Air conditioning is central and controlled by the building management; it may not be available year-round, particularly after the summer season. The 24-hour reception is located at a nearby building (not the apartment entrance) and is the point for key pickup and security. The reception staff speak English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. No on-site parking or pet access is provided. The property is non-smoking throughout.
