ROOMS MALDONADO, Madrid

The property sits in the central Salamanca district, a top-rated area for its convenience. Public transport is excellent: the metro station is within a short walk and bus line 203 connects directly from the airport in about 20 minutes. Major landmarks like Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and El Retiro Park are roughly 4 km away, and the Wizink Center is a 20-minute walk. Numerous restaurants, supermarkets, and a 24-hour pharmacy are within a few blocks, making the location highly practical for both leisure and event-focused stays.

Accommodation is split across shared apartment-style units with 4 rooms per apartment. Room types include single, double, and quadruple. All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle, and free toiletries. Room sizes vary: some are described as spacious with a desk, armchair, and good natural light, while others are very small. Sound insulation is limited - noise from adjoining rooms and communal areas is common, especially when other guests return late. Windows face internal courtyards in some rooms, which can affect light and air. A portable fan is provided but there is no air conditioning, so rooms can become very warm. Bed comfort is generally good, with memory foam pillows and comfortable mattresses.

There is no on-site restaurant or breakfast service. Each apartment includes a shared kitchen equipped with a stovetop, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, kitchenware, and a dining table - useful for preparing simple meals. Within a 5-minute walk, there are over a dozen dining options including Md75, Rodilla, La Cuchara, and Mola Grill, offering a range of cuisines. Several supermarkets are also nearby for groceries.

The property does not offer a pool, spa, gym, or lounge. Leisure options are external: El Retiro Park is about 4 km away, and the Salamanca district itself is well served by restaurants, bars, and shops. For events, the Wizink Center is a 20-minute walk and Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is 3 km away.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The shared kitchen is equipped for self-catering. Laundry service is available for a fee. Check-in is done by prior arrangement with key exchange, and a late check-in fee applies after 20:00. Luggage storage is offered on request but depends on staff availability. The property provides a flat-screen TV, a dining table, and electric kettle in rooms. There is no parking and no air conditioning. The building is accessible by key code.
