SEA COTTAGES OF AMELIA, Fernandina Beach

The property is located on a quiet area of the island, yet within a short walk (5 minutes) to beach access, as well as several restaurants such as Sliders Seaside Grill and Tortuga Jack's (0.5 km). Fort Clinch State Park is 4 km away, and Amelia Island Lighthouse is 5 km. The area feels safe and well-lit, with easy access to bike and walking trails. While walking to the beach is easy, having a car is useful for reaching downtown Fernandina Beach and other attractions. The property has free on-site parking with reserved spots.

Rooms are set in individual wooden cottages connected by a central boardwalk winding through mature trees and gardens. Each cottage has a private deck with two teak chairs and a table. Accommodation types include studio units (queen bed, walk-in shower) and deluxe double rooms (true bedroom with door, bathtub, two flat-screen TVs). The kitchenette includes a mini-fridge, microwave, induction cooktop, coffee maker (with coffee and creamer provided), electric kettle, cookware, and utensils. Rooms feature a sofa bed, dining area, flat-screen TV with streaming services, parquet floors, and a safety deposit box. Some cottages have separate air conditioning controls for living room and bedroom. Windows in some units may face other cottages, limiting privacy. A ramp connects the walkway to all cottages, aiding wheelchair access.

Each cottage has a well-equipped kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, induction cooktop, and coffee maker, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. Coffee, creamer, and sugar are provided. Several restaurants are within walking distance: Sliders Seaside Grill and Tortuga Jack's are both 0.5 km away, and there are additional options along the beachfront and a short drive to downtown Fernandina Beach. Breakfast is not included.

The property has a shared sun terrace and landscaped garden with outdoor seating. Beach access is a 5-minute walk via a public access point. For additional leisure, the area offers bike and walking trails, and golf and mini-golf are available within 3 km (additional charge). An outdoor shower is available to rinse off sand. Wagons are provided to help carry belongings to the beach. Dog-friendly beaches are nearby (leash required). There is no on-site pool or spa.

The property provides free WiFi in all rooms, free on-site private parking (reservation required, one car per room), accessible parking, and a ramp to the boardwalk. Express check-in and check-out are available; late arrivals can access keys via a locked drop box.
