FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON HOUSTON WEST, Houston

The hotel sits in a convenient West Houston location, just off the beltway, making it easy to drive to major attractions like Memorial Park and The Galleria. The area is quiet, and the parking lot is ample and well-lit. While public transport is limited, the central location offers quick access to nearby restaurants such as Backyard Cafe & Grill (0.5 km) and Senor Burrito's (0.5 km). For airport travellers, a car is necessary as no shuttle is available; the drive to George Bush Intercontinental takes about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

Rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs, soundproof walls, private entrances, and tea/coffee facilities. Some rooms feature a walk-in shower. The décor is functional and slightly dated, and room sizes are adequate for short stays. The bathrooms are private but can be compact. Air conditioning units are present but can be noisy; light sleepers may want earplugs. The overall condition of furnishings and cleanliness can vary, so it is advisable to inspect the room upon arrival and request a change if needed.

Breakfast is a buffet-style offering available at an additional cost of $10 USD, featuring hot items like eggs and sausage, but selection can be basic and inconsistent. For dinner, the restaurant menu is limited; the bar/lounge may offer a restricted menu (e.g., wings and fries). The hotel also has a vending machine for snacks and drinks, and a minimarket on site. Several casual dining options are within a short walk (0.3-0.5 km), including McDonald's and Taco Cabana.

The outdoor pool is a key leisure amenity, though its availability can be subject to closure (as noted in some stays). The hot tub is located near the pool area. The fitness centre is free and open 24 hours, equipped with older but functional equipment. There is also a sun terrace with outdoor furniture and a picnic area, plus a shared lounge/TV area for relaxation. Golf courses are within 3 km but at an additional charge.

Parking is free and secure, with accessible spaces. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and can assist with express check-in and checkout. Luggage storage is free, useful for early arrivals or late departures. The hotel also offers laundry services (dry cleaning and ironing) for a fee. A business centre with free fax/photocopying is available. The property is wheelchair accessible with features such as lower bathroom sinks, raised toilets, and grab rails. Pets are allowed for a fee of $75 per pet (max two under 16 kg).
