SHORT RENT MILAN PORTA VITTORIA, Milan

The building sits in a quiet, secure residential area, and the surrounding streets are easy to navigate on foot. Tram 16 stops a short walk from the building and runs to the metro or directly to Duomo; other bus and tram routes are also close by, putting central Milan roughly 20 minutes away. The Duomo is about a 30-minute walk, while La Scala and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele are near at hand. A hypermarket, shops and several cafés and restaurants sit within a few minutes' walk. Linate Airport is 5 km away, and since no shuttle operates, a 24-hour taxi is the straightforward transfer option.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a cosy bed, heating and a practical layout. Each unit has one bed; the one-bedroom apartment adds a bathroom with both bath and shower. Extras include free toiletries, ironing facilities, a washing machine, tea and coffee facilities, an electric kettle, a dining table and carpeted floors. Some rooms open onto a private balcony, while others have a terrace with garden views, so balcony availability depends on the dates selected. Televisions include streaming apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. Decor is simple, and bathroom fittings are older but fully usable, making this a good fit for travellers who want a well-equipped, no-fuss base rather than a design-led stay.

Breakfast availability depends on the dates and rate selected, so check the options when choosing your stay. If breakfast is not part of the rate, the kitchenette - with stovetop, refrigerator, microwave and kitchenware - makes self-catering straightforward, and the host provides starter supplies such as coffee, water and basic condiments. Around the property, Ristorante Sciue, Lambiczoon, Ristorante Da Angelo, NaBi Natura Biologica, Torrefazione Bar and Antica Forneria 1901 are about 0.5 km away, while Norman and El Carnicero are about 0.5 km away, providing plenty of restaurants, a café-bar and a bakery without having to travel far.

Wi-Fi is free and runs at about 80 Mbps, sufficient for 4K streaming and video calls on multiple devices. The building has a lift, key access, CCTV outside, smoke alarms and fire extinguishers. Services include luggage storage after check-out when arranged with the host, a work desk, and a responsive host who communicates clear arrival instructions and remains available for requests. An invoice can be provided for stays. Payment methods include American Express, Visa, Diners Club, JCB, Maestro, Discover, CartaSi, UnionPay and MasterCard.
