The U-Bahn and S-Bahn at Karlsplatz connect to the airport (S1/S8, ~45 minutes, €10), the Oktoberfest grounds (Theresienwiese, 2 km walk), and the Messe München exhibition centre (20 minutes by public transport). The surrounding streets are busy, with shops, restaurants, a cinema, a supermarket, and a laundromat within a few minutes' walk. The area near the Hauptbahnhof can feel less inviting after dark, but the hotel's 24-hour reception provides a secure point of return.

Breakfast (€8-14 per person) is a continental buffet with warm dishes (eggs, sausages), fresh pastries, bread, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, juice, tea, and coffee. It is served in the breakfast room or, during summer, in the small Biergarten attached to the hotel.
