Traffic around the area can be unpredictable, so plan an extra 30 minutes for travel to attractions. The immediate surroundings include industrial buildings and a fire station, which may produce siren noise. Some visitors have noted the area as feeling less secure, with occasional homeless presence.

Suites are apartment-style with separate living and sleeping areas, full kitchens (stove, oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, cookware, dishes), and private bathrooms. Some rooms have a couch that converts into a bed. Loft-style two-bedroom/two-bathroom units are available. Condition varies widely: some units are clean and spacious, while others show signs of wear such as stained carpets, peeling paint, broken fixtures, and outdated furniture. Units with fireplaces require you to purchase your own Duraflame log. Rooms near the street or fire station can be noisy. First-floor rooms can be requested but are subject to availability.

The property previously offered a hot breakfast buffet but has discontinued this service as part of its transition to residential apartments. Currently, a grab-and-go bag with basic items (e.g., coffee, cereal bar) is available at limited times.
