STAYBRIDGE SUITES DALLAS/ADDISON, AN IHG HOTEL, Dallas

The hotel is situated in a quiet, safe neighbourhood of Addison, Texas. Several dining options are within walking distance, including Dough Bro's Italian Kitchen (0.5 km) and a variety of other cuisines within 1 km. The location provides straightforward access to the highway, making it easy to drive to areas like Dallas. The public transit tram stop is also right outside, offering a car-free option for city-centre trips. Though the hotel is close to the expressway, it is generally quiet, especially in rooms set back from the road.

Accommodations are large, studio-style suites featuring a fully equipped kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, and utensils. Each suite includes a separate living area with a sofa bed, a dining table, and a flat-screen TV. Bedrooms offer comfortable beds, and some rooms have walk-in closets. While the rooms are spacious, the overall decor can feel dated and basic. Some rooms may have limited natural light. Air conditioning is available, but some units have experienced stuffiness. For best quiet conditions, choose a room away from the expressway and interior hallways. The second building has an elevator that has been reported as unreliable, so those with mobility concerns should request a ground floor or main building room.

A complimentary breakfast is served each morning, offering a hot selection that has included bacon, eggs, sausages, waffles (including a Texas-shaped waffle iron), and a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereals. The breakfast has switched to a grab-and-go format with warm sandwiches or burritos at certain times. A snack bar is also available on-site. Additionally, the hotel hosts a weeknight evening reception with complimentary light dinner and drinks, which is a welcome touch for travellers. The location also provides walking access to several nearby restaurants, such as Dough Bro's Italian Kitchen, Astoria Caffe, Pacific Spice, and The Lion and Crown.

Wi-Fi is available free in all areas. Parking is also free, with public on-site spaces and no reservation needed. The front desk is open 24 hours, offering express check-in/check-out and private check-in/check-out. A minimarket is on-site for snacks and drinks, and vending machines are also available. A free guest laundry room is a practical perk for longer stays. Pets are allowed (charges apply). The hotel is non-smoking throughout, with a designated smoking area. A safety deposit box is available. The property has lifts, but the second building's elevator has been unreliable. The hotel is adults-only, and air conditioning and heating are provided. Daily housekeeping is not automatic; it is provided weekly or must be requested.
