STAYBRIDGE SUITES WICHITA BY IHG, Wichita

The hotel is located on Greenwich Road in a commercial corridor with numerous dining and shopping options within a short walk - from fast food to sit-down restaurants like Texas Roadhouse and Oak & Pie. Wichita State University is 8 km south, and All Star Adventures family entertainment centre is 5 km north. The airport is a 20-minute drive; no shuttle service is provided, so guests need to arrange their own transport or use a ride-hailing service. Free private parking eliminates the need for a reservation, making the hotel convenient for those driving.

The hotel offers a range of suite types: studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites. Studio suites feature a king bed, sofa, and kitchenette, while larger suites have a separate living room with pull-out sofa, full kitchen with stove, full-size fridge, microwave, and utensils. The two-bedroom suite sleeps up to 6 guests and includes two bathrooms. Rooms are generally spacious, but the condition of furniture and fixtures can vary. Some rooms have been recently updated, while others show signs of wear. Noise transfer between floors and adjacent rooms is possible; rooms on higher floors away from the elevator are quieter. Carpeting is present throughout. No rooms have balconies. Bed type is assigned upon arrival and cannot be pre-requested as a guarantee.

The breakfast buffet includes scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, cereals, pastries, fruit, and beverages. It is served in the breakfast area or during renovations at the neighbouring Holiday Inn. The free social hour (Mon-Wed evenings) offers light snacks, beer, and wine - a good opportunity to save on dinner. For other meals, the surrounding area provides many restaurants within walking distance, including American, Italian, and fast-food options. The hotel also has BBQ grills and a picnic area for outdoor cooking. There is no bar on the property.

Free WiFi is accessible throughout the property. Free private parking is on site without reservation. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out and luggage storage. A business centre with computers and printing is available, and meeting/banquet facilities can be booked for an additional fee. Laundry service is free for guests to use; dry cleaning is available for a charge. Pets are welcome with a $75 non-refundable fee - advise the hotel at booking. Accessibility features include a lift, accessible parking spaces, and adapted rooms. Security: key card access, CCTV, smoke alarms. Vending machines for drinks and snacks. The hotel also provides a free fruit bowl in the lobby.
