STUDIO PARIS BASTILLE, Paris

The apartment sits on a quiet street in a safe, residential pocket of the 12th arrondissement, a top-rated area. Metro Line 1 is steps away, making most central sights - including the Louvre (5 km) and Notre Dame (4 km) - reachable without transfers. Paris-Gare-de-Lyon is a 15-minute walk along Boulevard Diderot, and the RER A at Gare de Lyon connects to Disneyland. Paris Orly Airport is 19 km away, easily accessed via Metro Line 14 to Gare de Lyon, then a short walk. The neighbourhood is dense with shops: a Franprix supermarket is 100 metres away, several boulangeries are within 50 metres, and restaurants line the nearby streets. For leisure, an ice-skating rink and boating are also in the surrounding area.

The studio apartment is compact but well-organized, featuring a comfortable double bed, a seating area with a flat-screen TV, and a dining table. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, and cookware - ideal for preparing simple meals. A washing machine is also installed, adding practical convenience for longer stays. The private bathroom offers free toiletries and a hairdryer. The apartment has parquet floors, a private entrance, and faces a quiet street, ensuring restful nights. Some have noted that the bed may feel slightly softened in the centre over time, but the overall cleanliness and thoughtful provisions (coffee capsules, tea, condiments, cleaning supplies) are consistently praised. Space suits one or two adults well, and can also comfortably accommodate an additional child.

The apartment does not include a restaurant or bar, but its kitchenette - equipped with a stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, and utensils - allows full meal preparation. A Franprix supermarket is 100 metres away for groceries, and several boulangeries within 50 metres provide fresh bread and pastries daily. Within a two-minute walk are numerous dining options: Bistro 79, La Pantoche, Les Argentiers, Aux Gourmets de Shanghai, McDonald's, and Sakae sushi, among others. For a wider selection, the lively Rue de Reuilly is nearby. The host also provides complimentary coffee capsules and tea, a thoughtful touch for quick morning drinks.

The property itself does not have a pool, spa, or gym. However, the surrounding area provides leisure options: an ice-skating rink is available for winter visits, and boating activities are accessible. For everyday exercise, the quiet residential streets are suitable for running, and Metro Line 1 gives quick access to the parks and gardens of central Paris, such as the Tuileries Garden.

Free WiFi is available in public areas (but may not reach inside the apartment consistently). Luggage storage can be arranged, helpful for late-departure days. The host offers a responsive communication style and is flexible with arrival and departure times, using a key box for self-check-in. There is no on-site reception, but the host typically responds quickly to messages. The building has no elevator (3rd-floor walk-up), so this should be factored into packing. The apartment is non-smoking throughout. An invoice is provided upon request. No other services (laundry service, shuttle, concierge) are offered, but the washing machine inside the apartment covers self-service laundry.
