SUITE SAN DAMASO, Rome

The apartment sits in a peaceful, top-rated area of Rome approximately 2 km from St. Peter's Basilica and 2 km from the Vatican Museums - about a 15-minute walk. Campo de' Fiori and Piazza Navona are also within easy reach. The nearest bus stop is very close, providing direct routes to central Rome. For airport transfers, a fixed taxi fare from Fiumicino is typically 50 EUR. Several grocery stores and eateries, including Rimpizzamose Il Gelato, Jing Yuan, and Caffetteria Roselli, are within a short stroll, making daily errands and dining out convenient without needing transport.

The apartment comprises one separate bedroom plus a living room with a convertible bed (located near the entrance, so light sleepers may prefer the main bedroom). It offers 3 beds in total, a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchenette for cooking and storing food, as well as a washing machine - a practical bonus for longer stays. The space is described as clean, luminous, and renovated, with reliable heating, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV. The host provides a thoughtful welcome pack (fruit, water, coffee) and laundry detergent. The ground-floor setting and lift add convenience.

For those who prefer to prepare their own meals, the kitchenette includes a hob, fridge, washing machine, and coffee machine - and the host often leaves coffee, bottled water, and fresh fruit as a welcome gesture. The neighbourhood is well-served by dining options: within about 500 metres you'll find Italian, Chinese, gelato, and café choices (e.g., Rimpizzamose Il Gelato, Jing Yuan, Caffetteria Roselli, Gelsomino Vaticano). The nearby bus stop also makes it easy to reach central Rome for more variety.

The apartment has no pool, spa or gym, but the surrounding area is calm and green, with St. Peter's Square and the Vatican gardens within walking distance. The quiet street and the presence of nearby parks allow for pleasant strolls or jogs without city-centre noise. For extensive leisure, the historic centre is easily reached by bus.

Internet: free, fast Wi-Fi (146 Mbps) suitable for 4K streaming and video calls. Reception: staff speak English, Italian and Chinese, and provide an invoice. Housekeeping is not daily, but the apartment is very clean on arrival. Safety: a safety deposit box and fire extinguishers are available. Parking: none on site.
