HOTEL 34B - ASTOTEL, Paris

Hotel 34B - Astotel sits on a quieter side street in the heart of Paris, within 1 km of Opéra Garnier, 2 km of the Louvre Museum and Pompidou Centre, and a similar distance from Tuileries Garden. Grands Boulevards Metro Station (Lines 8 and 9) is a 3-minute walk, offering direct routes to most landmarks. Gare du Nord is about 20 minutes by metro or taxi. The surrounding area is packed with restaurants, cafés, shops, and a supermarket around the corner, making it easy to eat out or pick up supplies. Orly Airport is 16 km away; a taxi to CDG costs around 60-70 EUR, and the hotel can arrange a private transfer from the hotel to CDG for 65 EUR.

The hotel offers double, twin, triple, family, and duplex (two-level) rooms, all with private bathrooms featuring either a bath or shower. Beds are queen-size in doubles, and twins offer two separate beds. Triple and family rooms can accommodate up to three guests with three single beds or a double bed plus an extra bed (subject to supplement in a double supérieur). Duplex apartments have a toilet on each floor and a proper bathroom upstairs, but no internal door between levels; some duplexes have a balcony (request when booking). All rooms feature air conditioning, soundproof walls, carpeted or wooden flooring, a work desk or wardrobe, and a safe. Rooms facing the side street or courtyard tend to be quieter; some noise from the lobby or street may affect front-facing rooms. Some rooms show wear and tear (stained carpets, scuffed walls) which is more noticeable in older rooms.

The hotel provides a fitness room and a sauna for guest use at no additional charge. The gym is open from 8 am to 10 pm every day, but guests must reserve a time slot in advance at reception. The sauna follows the same hours and reservation policy. There is no swimming pool or spa on site. The nearby neighbourhood offers plenty of walking routes, cafés, and shopping for off-site leisure.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all areas. The 24-hour reception provides concierge service, city maps, and luggage storage (free, but held in an unlocked area near reception). Daily housekeeping is included; towels and linens are changed as needed at no extra cost. Three elevators serve the building, and wheelchair-accessible rooms with grab rails, raised toilet, and lower sink are available. Meeting/banquet facilities can be arranged for an additional charge. Air conditioning, heating, and soundproofing are standard in all rooms. The hotel accepts American Express, Visa, Diners Club, JCB, Maestro, Discover, and UnionPay credit cards. No pets are allowed, and smoking is prohibited throughout the property.
