SWEET VENICE - CHECKIN AT "ALLOGGI SS GIOVANNI E PAOLO", Venice

The location is central yet quiet, set on a side alley near many restaurants and the lively Santa Maria Formosa Square. St Mark's Square is a 4-minute walk away, and the Rialto Bridge is 650 metres-roughly 8 minutes on foot. The walk from Santa Lucia station involves a 20-25 minute stroll (or a vaporetto ride) to the separate check-in office, then onward to the accommodation. Multiple trattorias, cafés and street-food spots lie within 300 metres. The excellent location score of 9.5 reflects the convenience for sightseeing entirely on foot; no car or shuttle is needed.

Standard rooms offer basic, tiled-floor comfort with air conditioning, heating, a wardrobe and a shared bathroom that is cleaned after each check-out. Apartments add a separate living room, two bedrooms, a private bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchenette (stovetop, fridge, oven, tea and coffee facilities). Triple rooms with shared bathroom are also on offer. All units are located on the second or third floor (20 to 40 steps); there is no lift. Rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and a quiet atmosphere; some have been recently renovated. No rooms have a balcony. Wi-Fi is free in the apartments but charged in some room types.

The hotel does not operate a restaurant, bar, or breakfast service-so all meals are self-catered or eaten out. The apartments come with a fully fitted kitchenette (stovetop, refrigerator, oven, tea and coffee maker, dining area). Shared rooms benefit from a shared kitchen with basic utensils. Seven eateries are within a three-minute walk, including Rossopomodoro Venezia (pizza, Italian), Osteria al Pozzo Roverso, and Ristorante Antica Sacrestia. Visitors who prefer eating out can easily find everything from street food to traditional trattorias steps away.

There are no on-site wellness facilities-no pool, spa, or fitness centre. The stay itself is practical and minimalist, focused on exploring Venice on foot. The central position means all major sights (St Mark's, Rialto Bridge, Doge's Palace, the Arsenal) are within a short walking distance. The quiet location on a side alley provides calm after busy days exploring the city.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the building; some rooms (particularly the shared-bathroom room types) may incur an additional charge. Luggage can be left in the hallway before check-in or after check-out-there is no dedicated storage room. Reception hours are limited; check-in is a straightforward process at a separate office (7 minutes from the accommodation). Safety deposit boxes (with a charge), CCTV in common areas and outside, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms and key access are in place. No lift-all rooms are on the second or third floor. The property accepts Visa and MasterCard.
