TEATRO ROMANO 7 & 8, Malaga

The studios sit in the pedestrianised old town, directly opposite Bodega El Pimpi and a few steps from the Picasso Museum (1 minute) and Málaga Cathedral (2 minutes). The Alcazaba is 400 metres away and La Malagueta Beach a 14-minute walk. All major museums, the central market, gardens and sea front are easily reachable on foot. The area is lively and buzzy, so light sleepers may prefer a quieter setting; the balcony provides a front-row view of the city's energy. For airport transfers, use Central Station or a taxi, as no shuttle is available.

Each studio is air-conditioned and soundproofed, with parquet flooring and a private entrance. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, tea and coffee maker, cookware and a Nespresso machine. The bathroom has a spacious shower, two sinks, free toiletries, a hairdryer and soft towels. Room 7 sleeps two; Room 8 sleeps four adults on two separate beds and offers more generous outdoor space. Both studios have a sofa bed, a work desk, a flat-screen TV, plenty of storage, and extra touches such as good lighting and many plug sockets. The balcony overlooks the Roman Theatre and Alcazaba, making it a strong choice for a city-centre stay.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service at the studios, so all meals need to be self-catered or taken outside. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing simple meals, and several cafés and restaurants are within a two-minute walk, including Bodega El Pimpi directly opposite. For grocery shopping, the central market is a short stroll away. The lively pedestrian zone means a wide variety of cuisines and price points are available on foot.

WiFi is free in the rooms. The building has a lift, and the studios are fully non-smoking with soundproofed rooms. Security features include 24-hour security, CCTV, smoke alarms, a safety deposit box, key card access and fire extinguishers. For families, cots are available.
